Care Instructions

Hemp & Nettle Bag

To preserve the quality and durability of your
bag made from hemp and nettle fibers, we recommend the following care instructions:

1. Cleaning

  • Gently remove surface dirt using a soft cloth and
    mild soap.
  • For more thorough cleaning, hand wash in cold
water with a mild, natural detergent.
  • Do not use bleach or aggressive cleaning agents.
  • Machine washing is not recommended unless
explicitly stated on the product label.

2. Drying

  • After washing, gently press out excess water
    without wringing.
  • Reshape the bag and allow it to air dry flat in a
    shaded, well-ventilated area.
  • Avoid direct exposure to sunlight during drying,
    as this may cause fading.
  • Do not
    tumble dry.

3. Storage

  • Store the bag in a cool, dry environment.
  • Prolonged exposure to sunlight, moisture, or high
    humidity should be avoided.
  • For long-term storage, use a breathable fabric
    cover rather than plastic.

4. General Maintenance

  • Natural fibers such as hemp and nettle may
develop a softer texture over time, which is a normal characteristic of
    the material.
  • Loose threads should be carefully trimmed with
    scissors—do not pull.

By following these guidelines, you will help maintain the appearance and integrity of your natural fiber bag for years to come.

Organic Cotton Bags

To ensure the longevity and appearance of your
organic cotton bag, we advise the following care procedures:

1. Cleaning

  • Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild, natural soap when necessary.
  • For a deeper clean, hand wash in cold or lukewarm water with a gentle detergent.
  • If machine washing is required, use a delicate cycle at 30°C (86°F) with similar colors.
  • Avoid the use of bleach or strong chemical
    agents.

2. Drying

  • Air dry the bag by laying it flat or hanging it's in a shaded, well-ventilated area.
  • Do not tumble dry, as heat may cause shrinkage or distortion.
  • Avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading.

3. Ironing

  • If needed, iron on a low to medium heat setting while the bag is slightly damp.
  • Do not iron over printed or decorated areas.

4. Storage

  • Store in a dry, cool place away from direct
    sunlight and humidity.
  • Use a breathable fabric cover for long-term storage if desired.

5. General
Notes

  • Organic cotton may naturally soften over time with regular use and washing.
  • Minor variations in texture or color are typical of natural fibers and add to their unique character.

By treating your organic cotton bag with care, you contribute to both its durability and the sustainable values it represents.
