How durable is hemp fabric?

We love making use of hemp for our bags. Is it really that durable?

Hemp is known to be a highly durable material. In fact, it is considered one of the strongest natural fibers available, and is known for its strength, durability, and resistance to wear and tear. Hemp fibers are about 10 times stronger than cotton fibers, and can withstand a great deal of wear and tear without breaking or wearing down.

Hemp is a highly sustainable crop that requires minimal use of pesticides and herbicides. It also grows quickly, reaching maturity in just 100-120 days. It also has good resistance to moisture, which means that it is less likely to rot or develop mold when exposed to water. This makes it a good material for outdoor use, such as for our backpacks!

Additionally, hemp is also naturally resistant to UV light, which means that it does not fade or degrade as quickly as some other natural fibers when exposed to sunlight. And did you know that hemp fabric is naturally antimicrobial and hypoallergenic, making it a good choice for people with sensitive skin?

Overall, hemp is a highly durable and long-lasting material that is well-suited for a wide range of applications.
