To respect the environment, we use organic material.
Ours grow abundantly in the wild of Nepal and India without pesticides
and synthetic fertilizers. This allows for easy recycling and
biodegradation of our fabrics while reducing the environmental impact of
making a LaLu bag. Our goal is to make all bags completely from organic
and recycled material, this is a work in progress, so for now we use a
small amount of synthetic material to support the comfort of some
bags. We use organic Hemp, Nettle, Cotton, and Jute for their
sustainable qualities - these materials use significantly less water to
grow, with Hemp and Nettle considered carbon sinks!

Sustainability
also means durable products. Each LaLu bag goes through a vigorous
check after it’s handmade, to ensure its durability. To stand by our
standard, we offer a 3-month guarantee for all our products!
